This year we are celebrating Freedom Fridays. We will be highlighting patriotic colored and themed fabrics offered in our store or from our favorite manufacturers. We will also be providing links to free patterns which you may use in home decor or as a gift to your favorite veteran.
Welcome to the historic Norman General Store.
Following the traditions by general stores of old, we offer a variety of "general" merchandise. Made-in-Wisconsin maple syrups and homemade soaps are the perfect souvenir of your visit to northeast Wisconsin. They make a unique gift when you fill up one of our imprinted cheese boxes or crate baskets.
We may not carry calicos and muslins, but we do have a special selection of quilt fabrics (including 118") from Blank Quilting, FreeSpirit, Henry Glass and StudioE Fabrics, as well as Quilters Dream and Insul-Bright battings. Olfa rotary cutters and blades, Omni Grid rulers, Mettler threads, patterns and notions are also available.
Vintage glasswares, kitchenwares, and vintage hardware odds and ends, along with greeting cards and wrapping supplies, are all part of the eclectic shopping experience when you take a little step back in time at the Norman General Store.
Paper Trees - This 12-piece collection features the lovely one yard tree panel shown, along with colorful and fun coordinating prints that Sue Penn is known for. From FreeSpirit Fabrics, the complete collection should arrive in April.
Time Travel - Take a trip through time with the newest steampunk themed collection from Blank Quilting. With a color palette of grays, teals, coppers and bronzes, this is the ticket to your next quilting adventure.
Prismachrome - Our newest blender collection is from Studio E Fabrics. The semi-transparent colors were created with overlapping brushstrokes that provide a nice texture to these prints.
When you want to add a pop of bold color to your project, these blenders may be just what you need!
Embark Canvas - Limited quantities remain of these popular Eclectic Elements designs that were reproduced on a lightweight cotton canvas. Designs by Tim Holtz for FreeSpirit Fabrics.
